Welcome to the Broward County Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. We serve the Association’s members and support the federal judiciary in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida in Fort Lauderdale. We are also committed to inspiring law students and future federal practitioners and to serving the Broward County community.

Our monthly and annual programming includes the Judicial Luncheon Guest Speaker Series, Judicial Reception, Book Fair with local schools, Summer Associates Day, Breakfast with the Bench, Civil Discourse and Difficult Decisions Program with local schools, annual Federal Law Clerk Recruitment Reception, and the Federal Bar’s “Nothing but the Truth” Initiative, which helps the public better understand the role of an independent judiciary. Together, these programs promote camaraderie and professionalism within the local federal bar, create opportunities to discuss and share information on emerging legal issues, and foster engagement with members of the judiciary.
