Welcome to the Broward County Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Our Chapter’s mission is to serve our community and support the Federal judiciary in the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. We are also committed to serving and inspiring future generations of federal practitioners.

Our events feature federal judges and other federal luminaries, offering unparalleled opportunities to interact with the federal bench and bar outside of the courtroom. These events include regular luncheons with guest speakers, the signature Judicial Reception, Summer Associates Day, Breakfast with the Bench, the Civil Discourse and Difficult Decisions program with local schools, and the annual Federal Law Clerk Recruitment Reception. This year, we will also participate in the Federal Bar’s “Nothing but the Truth” Initiative, which aims to help the public better understand the role of our independent judiciary.
